Cteens

Cteens is an International Jewish Youth group for teens in high school

It's run by the Chabad's of the world

It teaches young teens about Judaism and to gain a deeper religious understanding

It's a way for Jewish teens to connect and make friendship

Cteens offers leadership experience

In 2020-2021 I became the secretary, meaning I kept everything organized and helped each board member with their position

In 2021-2022 I have now become the program planner, my job is to create all the programs, work on calendars, and create all the budgeting

Cteens has given me so much leadership experience and a deeper understanding of responsibility, I have gained more knowledge regarding Judaism and what it means to take charge and apply yourself.

During the summer of 2021 I was able to go to Myrtle beach for a weekend and meet the Cteen's in Raleigh. It was an amazing experience to meet other Jews who live near me and have the same connections.

In February 2022 I was given the opportunity to speak at the International Cteen Shabbaton, along with meeting new people and broadening my jewish sense of identity.
